No. B.14015/6/2019-LESDE, the 3rd February, 2023: In pursuance of the decision of the Council of Ministers conveyed by the Political & Cabinet Department vide No. J.11011/1/2023-POL dt.30.01.2023 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 154 and 156 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020) read with section 24 of the General Clauses Act, 1987 (10 of 1897) and in supersession of the Mizoram Workmen’s Compensation Rules, 2009, the Payment of Gratuity (Mizoram) Rules, 2015, the Mizoram Maternity Benefit Rules, 2014, the Mizoram Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2015 and the Mizoram Unorganised Worker’s Social Security Rules, 2013 published in the Mizoram Gazette Extraordinary Vol-XXXVIII S.E. 1931 Issue No. 396 dt.29.07.2009, Vol. XLV S.E.1938 Issue No.309 dt.23.08.2016, Vol. XLIV S.E. 1936 Issue No. 100 dt. 24.02.2015, Vol.-XLV S.E. 1938 Issue No. 134 dt.18.05.2016 and Vol. XLII. S.E. 1935 Issue No. 535 dt. 04.10.2013, the Government of Mizoram is pleased to notify the Mizoram Code on Social Security Rules, 2023 for general information.
