9^th May 2024: A joint meeting with Head of Department and Major Work Departments was hosted by the Mizoram Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB) which served as a platform for comprehensive discussions concerning the payment and utilization of Labour Cess.

The primary agenda was the identification of bottlenecks in the Cess payment process and exploring strategies for streamlining it. Participants engaged in a fruitful exchange of ideas, emphasizing the importance of timeliness and accuracy in Labour Cess payments to ensure the welfare of construction workers in Mizoram.
